Course Description: This course is aimed at educating the learner about common shoulder pathologies, general shoulder assessment, and exercises and manual treatment techniques for the shoulder, as well as screening and ruling out cervical spine in regards to potential shoulder involvement.
Learner Objectives: By the end of this course, the learner should have a better understanding of common shoulder pathologies, be more confident in shoulder assessment, and gain further insight into shoulder treatments including manual therapy and exercises to aid in pain management, mobility gains, and return to functional activity. The learner should also be more knowledgeable in regards to screening the cervical spine.

Matthew Powers, PT, DPT, OCS is a graduate of LSU-HSC-NO, class of 2014. He is currently employed by PT Solutions and is an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He currently serves as the District Chair of LPTA.
Christian Stafford, PT, DPT is a graduate of LSU-HSC-NO, class of 2014. He has been employed by PT Solutions since graduation, working at Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine.
Tiffany Stafford, LOTR is a graduate of LSU-HSC-NO, class of 2011. She has been employed by multiple companies since graduation and has worked in a variety of settings, including acute, NICU, outpatient and skilled nursing facilities. She currently serves as the Vice President of LOTA, the Louisiana Occupational Therapy Association.
